Digital print

In the past there were wooden block, frame and rotary print but in the last decades the digital print, following the inkjet process, became the most developed and applied way to print surfaces like fabrics and leathers, taking over the limits of older techniques.
At present day, further to the rotary, we print on any kind of fabric with digital printers either directly or by transfer process. Same technology but on different machinery is used to print patent leather, ecoleather or vegan leather, pvc and any polyurethane surface.

By the digital print, the minimum order quantity does not exist anymore: any design or picture can be printed in any quantity. There are still some limits due to the finishing of the fabric, which in some cases require a minimum quantity to reproduce a certain aspect and handfeel: for example the Cupro fabrics need at least 20 meters to be treated together to obtain the typical glare.
